I just got the whole series of Naruto and started watching it.........I'm at episode 56. Very Very good series! After 220...I'll come back to this thread and start watching the shipuudden part. (which I believe is up to 60 episodes? )

ItachiUchiha, it would be nice if you included the link on where you've watch the naruto episode 56... the most recent i watched was in youtube.. i think it was episode 43... jinchuriiki vs orochimaru..

I got it from one of the torrents sites...complete 1-220 plus 2 movies and 2 OVA (and 4 shipuundden) episodes. I'm still looking for the other shipuuden episodes but not in a hurry coz im busy finishing 220 episodes...LOL. I converted it to DVD so that i can watch it on TV. This is english subtitled orginal japanese version.

I was Just thinking that when the two akatsuki (itachi and Kisame) went to konoha to get naruto they were no match for Jeraiya but when the 3 sannin meet tsunade and jeraiyah were almost beaten by orochimaru by himself then when I watch shipuuden sasuke said that orochimaru was still no match for itachi up to now ,, then how is that

Orochimaru > Jeraiyah
Jeraiyah > Itachi
Itachi > Orochimaru

Orochimaru > Jeraiyah
Jeraiyah > Itachi
Itachi > Orochimaru

i think they're equal. orochimaru is sick due to the sealing technique of the third that sealed his hands...while jiraiya was poisoned that's why he was beaten by orochimaru. they're both sannins, though orochimaru is like sasuke, a genius while jiraiya is like naruto, a no-talent ninja who trained harder that's why he became a sannin...

this i don't know sushmita, itachi was careful that time, and their target is naruto, not jiraiya...the mission comes first for akatsuki...if we analyze the fight between itachi and orochimaru, itachi always succeed, due in part of his clan's bloodline limit, the sharingan. itachi has the mangekyu sharingan, the final secret of the clan. so based on this, itachi maybe stronger than jiraiya, we'll ask kishimoto about this!

yap. itachi defeated orochimaru many times before, when orochimaru was still an akatsuki. orochimaru wants itachi to be his next container, but he failed, that's why he pursued sasuke instead...please note that orochimaru is healthy that time...and sasuke killed orochimaru (he's sick and weak when it happened) though he didn't possess the mangekyou sharingan...

so basically sushmita, it's about the health issues and the bloodline limit of the ninjas involved.
