I saw this on the news and I was thinking.. magandang business ‘to mga ka-raphster!! Imagine, buy a hundred of these “Garra Rufa” dead-skin-eating fish and you’re on your way! A spa in Virginia is actually offering the service. It is a practice from China that was brought here by a Chinese businessman.



The fish eats the dead skin off your feet and they claim that it removes callouses and rough skin around your feet. Hmmm…



Don’t worry, it doesn’t hurt.. it just tickles. </description>

This was sent to me by a friend and I think it's nice to know why the barong is the national dress of the Philippines .





During the Spanish occupation of the Philippines (over 300 years from 1561-1889) the barong tagalog was required by the Spanish government for Filipinos (indios) to be worn at most times to show the difference between the rich and the poor. the poor who serve the rich must always be in uniform.
