Affliction Banned - MMA Event

The first ever Affliction MMA event was a great success by Donald Trump. Considering this was their first event, Ill get the negative out of the way. One complaint I have is, there were no “instant replays”. Instant replays are crucial for those “look away” moments. The fights started off slow, but gained intensity towards the main event. However, the first ever Affliction Mixed Martial Arts will be remembered for TWO main events.

Andrei Arlovski proved once again how accomplished a fighter he is by eliminating Ben Rothwell in a three mach duo. The fight started pretty even, but Arlovski took head towards the second round. Suspense built up as the last fight of the night approached. In a thirty six second slaughter, Fedor Emelianenko was crowned our first ever World Alliance of Mixed Martial Arts (WAMMA) champion, after a remarkable defeat on former heavy weight UFC Champion - Tim Sylvia!
